LightningSite launched in 2024, but it’s built on over a decade of experience.

Our parent company, Nordic Creative Ltd, was established in 2011 as a small web development agency. Since then, we’ve worked across a broad range of clients and sectors – from solo entrepreneurs to FTSE 250 companies.

Over time, we focused on what we do best: custom, lightweight WordPress sites. As our client base grew, our clients started to request additional services such as hosting, speed optimisation, maintenance, and ongoing support.

We developed these services based on direct client requests, which would later become our core product at LightningSite.

Our model is shaped by over 13 years of experience, and built around what our clients actually needed. It’s designed to fill the gap between typical hosting providers and developers – a space where many businesses struggle to find proper support.

We’re a small, focused team, and we want to stay that way. We believe in strong relationships, clear communication, and a service and product that puts clients first.

As the industry becomes more automated and less personal, we’re going the other way – offering reliable, human-first support that people can trust, built on our expertise and our clients’ experiences. That’s our focus now, and it’ll stay that way in the future.
